Fees

When you enrol your child (or children) at St John Bosco School, you undertake the responsbility for payment of Tuition Fees and other costs and charges associated with the education of your children.  These are set and amended from time to time by the School Board within the guidelines provided by the Catholic Education Office.

The Fees Structure for 2019 is available for download below.

An account/statement for your familiy's School Tuition Fees for the whole year is sent to each family at the beginning of the year or term that your child(ren) commence school.

Each term an updated statement is issued to each family as a reminder.  The expectation is that at least one third of the annual fees are paid in each of Terms 1, 2 and 3.  It is also expected that any outstanding balance accrued will be fnalised by the end of Term 3 each year.  The only exception to this is if a Direct Debit or Centrepay deduction has been arranged, in which case payments may continue until November each year.

A number of payment options are available to suit most family's budget systems, including:

  • Direct Debit (from bank account)
  • Centrepay deduction (from Centrelink)
  • Credit Card
  • Eftpos or cash
  • BPay

Families are strongly encouraged to use the above facilities to ensure regular, manageable payment.

The 2019 Financial Information Brochure is available below.

Direct Debit, Centrepay and School Card forms are available from the school Office.

Remissions and Discounts

The School Board does not wish to place undue financial pressure on any family but it must be appreciated that the school relies on School Fees to maintain resources, develop the school's grounds and facilities and to pay the bills in general.  If you are unable to meet the School Fee commitment, we urge you to speak to either the School Bursar or Principal.

There are several ways in which we may be able to assist families to fulfill their contractural obligation (as agreed upon when parents signed and lodged their child(ren)'s Application for Enrolment).  There are applications for Governement Assistance for families on all types of pensions and for families experiencing financial difficulties.  We may also be able to assist families with budgeting, so that families may be able to pay School Fees fortnightly or monthly or whatever schedule is agreeable to all concerned.  All information exchanged will remain confidential.

School Card families are entitled to an automatic reduction in School Fees.  It is of financial benefit to the family and the school that all eligible students become approved School Card holders, and that families complete the procedure within the specified timelines to ensure approval is granted.
