‘Haru No Hi’ Spring Day

During Japanese lessons our children have been busy creating Blossom trees and 'Hachi Maki' (Japanese headbands). Our children formed a circle on the oval. Zoe began with the acknowledgement of our country and Antonio and Jessica welcomed everyone. The Year 6 girls performed an Umbrella Dance and our Year 6 boys enthusiastically performed Taiko Drumming. We finished off the celebration with a whole school Japanese Dance.
